In striving to provide quality services, Gardaworld Malawi seeks to engage the services of suitably qualified individuals for its sites in Nchalo (Chikwawa District), Dwangwa (Nkhotakota District) and one position at Head Office in Lilongwe.
- Fire Engine Crew (6)
Reporting to Crew Commander Fire Response Services.
Job Purpose
The position is to ensure safety and security of our clients, visitors and assets in a professional and courteous manner.
Key responsibilities
- Responding to fire alarms and fire emergency responses, fire distress calls as directed by the Control Room.
- Conducting preventive surveillance rounds according to established procedures.
- Access control, security escorts, service call response and report writing.
- Assist in the event of fire emergency, first aid or any other intervention.
- Assist in evacuation from buildings/facilities in case of fire emergency.
- Obeying and executing operational commands and instruction from Fire Crew Commanders and superior officers.
- Performing and/or practising drills to sharpen response and reaction skills.
- Operating Fire two-way radio communication.

Qualification and Experience
- At least 2 years of progressive work experience in a similar work setting
- Knowledge of communication using all two-way radio codes
- Must have undergone basic guard security training
- No criminal record
