Job Overview
Casino Marina Blantyre is seeking a well-organized, friendly, and customer-focused Front Desk Operator to manage reception duties and serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors. The ideal candidate will be professional, articulate, and capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
• Welcome and receive visitors in a warm and professional manner.
• Answer and direct phone calls and emails.
• Manage appointment schedules and maintain front desk calendars.
• Assist with administrative tasks including filing, photocopying, and data entry.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
• Provide accurate information to clients and visitors.
• Handle inquiries and resolve customer issues or refer them to the appropriate department.
• Ensure compliance with front office procedures and policies.
Qualifications and Skills
• Diploma in Business Administration or related field.
• Previous experience as a Front Desk Officer, Receptionist, or Customer Service Representative is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
Preferred Skills
• Customer service training or certification.
• Good problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with office equipment (printers, scanners, PBX systems).
