Requirements
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Sales
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within target sectors and markets.
- Conduct client prospecting, lead generation, and follow-up to grow the sales pipeline.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and quotations for ICT solutions.
- Meet and exceed sales targets for ICT infrastructure, software, and managed services.
2. Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Understand client needs and advise on appropriate ICT solutions and service offerings.
- Ensure client satisfaction through excellent service delivery and support.
- Handle customer feedback and work closely with technical teams to resolve any issues.
3. Solution Selling & Technical Coordination
- Collaborate with pre-sales, engineering, and support teams to craft customized ICT solutions.
- Stay updated on product specifications, emerging technologies, and market trends.
- Support product demos, proof-of-concept deployments, and onboarding of new clients.
- Assist in the preparation of tender/bid documents and responses to RFQs/RFPs.
4. Reporting and Market Intelligence
- Maintain accurate sales records, forecasts, and customer information in CRM systems.
- Monitor industry developments and competitor activity to inform business strategy.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management review.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Monthly/Quarterly Sales Target Achievement (e.g., % of target reached)
- Number of New Clients Acquired
- Client Retention and Satisfaction Score
- Proposal-to-Deal Conversion Rate
- Timeliness and Quality of Sales Reporting
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in ICT sales, business development, or account management.
- Experience in selling ICT infrastructure, enterprise software, or managed services is highly desirable.
Certifications (an advantage):
- ITIL, Cisco, Microsoft, AWS, or similar certifications.
- Sales or CRM-related certifications.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Results-driven with a proactive sales approach.
- Good understanding of ICT products and solutions.
- Presentation, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Team player with a client-centric attitude.
- Familiarity with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
