Location: Kangankunde Rare Earths Project, Senzani, Balaka, Malawi.

Lindian Mining Services, a subsidiary of Lindian Resources Limited (ASX: LIN), is developing the Kangankunde Rare Earths Project — a globally significant resource at the core of our growth strategy. We are seeking disciplined and vigilant Security Officers to join our team during the construction phase of the project.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols, perimeter checks, and monitor site security vulnerabilities
• Enforce access control procedures for personnel, vehicles, and visitors
• Protect company assets, equipment, and materials from theft or damage
• Maintain accurate records including incident reports, gate logs, and visitor registers
• Support emergency response activities, drills, and security inspections
• Conduct site security inductions and awareness sessions
• Monitor compliance of contractors with site security requirements
• Participate in incident investigations and evidence collection
• Promote proactive security awareness and risk mitigation practices

Qualifications and Experience

• MSCE or equivalent and a minimum of 1 years’ experience in security, preferably in mining, construction, or similar environments
• Security training certification and/or police/military background are an added advantage
• Valid driver’s license

Skills and Competencies

• Strong observation skills with high attention to detail
• Good communication skills (English and local languages such as Chichewa)
• Basic computer skills (MS Word and Excel)
• Ability to work independently in a demanding site environment
• High integrity, professionalism, and accountability
• Strong problem-solving ability and calmness under pressure
