Thyolo District Council is inviting applications from suitable qualified Malawians to fill the following vacant positions existing at Thyolo District Council.
1. JOB TITLE: DISEASE CONTROL SURVEILLANCE ASSISTANT (DCSA) – 30
GRADE: HM/M11
SALARY: Within grade HM/M11 salary segment.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Chief Environmental Health Officer.
LOCATION: Thyolo District Council – Rural Health Facilities.
QUALIFICATION: Applicants must be in possession of a Malawi School Certificate of Education with pass in Biology and Mathematics. Direct employees working under Thyolo District Council with the aforementioned qualifications will have an added advantage.
2. JOB TITLE: HOSPITAL ATTENDANT (30)
GRADE: HP/M14
SALARY: Within grade M14 salary segment.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Chief Nursing Officer.
LOCATION: Thyolo District Council – Rural Health Facilities.
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be in possession of a Junior Certificate of Education (JCE). Direct employees working under Thyolo District Council with the aforementioned qualifications will have an added advantage.
3. JOB TITLE: SECURITY GUARD (20)
GRADE: P/M14
SALARY: Within grade P/M14 salary segment.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Senior Clerical Officer.
LOCATION: Thyolo District Council – Rural Health Facilities.
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be in possession of a Junior Certificate of Education (JCE). Direct employees working under Thyolo District Council with the aforementioned qualifications will have an added advantage.
4. JOB TITLE: GROUND LABOUR (20)
GRADE: R/M16
SALARY: Within grade R/M16 salary segment.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Senior Clerical Officer.
LOCATION: Thyolo District Council – Markets.
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be in possession of a Junior Certificate of Education. Direct employees working under Thyolo District Council with the stated qualifications will have an added advantage.
5. JOB TITLE: REVENUE COLLECTOR (8)
GRADE: M/M11
SALARY: Within grade M/M11 salary segment.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Trade Officer.
LOCATION: Thyolo District Council – Markets.
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be in possession of a Certificate in Business Administration (under ABE) or Certificate in Financial Accounting (CIFA).
6. JOB TITLE: STORES CLERK (1)
GRADE: M/M11
SALARY: Within grade M/M11 salary segment.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Stores Officer.
LOCATION: Thyolo District Council.
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be in possession of a Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) plus a Certificate in Purchasing and Supply Chain or any related qualification from a recognised institution.
7. JOB TITLE: COOK (1)
GRADE: P/M14
SALARY: Within grade M/M14 salary segment.
LOCATION: Thyolo District Council – Health Sector.
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be in possession of a Malawi School Certificate of Education.
8. JOB TITLE: COPY TYPIST (1)
GRADE: M/M11
SALARY: Within grade M/M11 salary segment.
LOCATION: Thyolo District Council – Health Sector.
QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must be in possession of a Malawi School Certificate of Education and a certificate in Secretarial Studies from a recognised institution.
