Kindle Orphan Outreach
Kindle Orphan Outreach is a Malawian grassroots organization dedicated to supporting orphans, vulnerable children, and their guardians within their communities. Their focus is on addressing a variety of needs, encompassing:
- Physical Health: This could include providing access to healthcare services, medication, and potentially even HIV/AIDS care as seen in their past initiatives.
- Mental and Social Wellbeing: Kindle Orphan Outreach might offer counseling or support groups for children and guardians.
- Education: They collaborate with local communities and government to increase school attendance rates, particularly for secondary education.
- Spiritual Needs: While the specific details are unclear, their mission statement suggests they may address spiritual needs alongside other aspects of well-being
Our Central Office is in the “Campsite” area of Salima Town.
We are about 0.5 km down a dirt road that is about 100 m East of the Petroda station at Kamuzu Road.
Our Nanjoka & Katawa Clinic sites are off of the ESCOM road approximately 15 km west of Salima Town. To get to the Nanjoka Site, turn left off of the ESCOM road after approximately 2 km, just before the railroad tracks. To get to Katawa Community Clinic, take the ESCOM road for approximately 5 km and turn left at the sign for the clinic in Kanzimbe village. The clinic is on the left less than 1 km after the turnoff.
