Daeyang University

Daeyang University is a Christian University registered and accredited by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) and founded by the Miracle for Africa Foundation. The University is located at Kanengo, Lilongwe behind Malawi School of Government, formerly known as Malawi Institute of Management (MIM). The University has three faculties: Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery, Faculty of ICT, as well as School of Business and Management Sciences, and it offers the following programmes: BSc in Nursing and Midwifery (Generic, and Upgrading), Bachelor of Science in Information and Communication Technology (Generic and Weekend Programme), Master of Science in Data Science, Bachelor of Commerce in Business Administration, Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, and Bachelor of Commerce in Human Resources Management. All the programmes are fully registered and accredited by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE), with the Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting additionally accredited by the Malawi Accountants Board (MAB).

It  started  with  the establishment of Daeyang College of Nursing in 2010 and Daeyang College of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in 2014. The  University  believes  in  biblical  principles  and  values and these are reflected in its teaching and training process. Students are therefore required to apply the same in their learning  process. Its graduates are expected to demonstrate professionalism and desire to live a God-centered life. Throughout their lives, graduates will have a heart to love all people from all nations, a desire to live imitating Jesus Christ as servant-leaders, and a passion to work for the Kingdom of God
