Centre for Social Concern
The Centre for Social Concern (CfSC) is a faith-based organisation that was set up in 2002 as project of the Missionaries of Africa (White Fathers). It promotes research and action on social issues, linking Christian faith and social justice. The CfSC aims at transforming the unjust structures in Malawian society through research and advocacy so as to ensure sustained change in policies for the betterment of all in line with their human dignity. With funding from Embassy of Ireland, the Centre for Social Concern is implementing a project titled, “Creating Effective Spaces for Inter-Religious Dialogue to break the inter-generational transmission of conflicts among faith groups in Mangochi District.” The Centre plans to consolidate its inter-religious dialogue structures in Mangochi District.
