The Ciheb Initiative Malawi (Center for International Health, Education, and Biosecurity) is a local non-governmental organization (NGO) focused on improving health systems and interventions in Malawi and beyond. Registered with the Malawi Registrar of Companies, Ciheb’s mission is to enhance human health through innovative, responsive, and sustainable health systems. As a key partner in public health, Ciheb Malawi works closely with the Ministry of Health to address major public health challenges like HIV, tuberculosis (TB), and COVID-19. From October 2024 to September 2029, Ciheb will be implementing the Lab-Strengthening Program funded by the U.S. Government through the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
