The Millennium Challenge Account (MCA) – Malawi II is a government entity responsible for implementing the second Millennium Challenge Compact between the Government of Malawi and the United States of America. This compact was signed on September 28, 2022, and is aimed at advancing economic growth and reducing poverty in Malawi through infrastructure and development projects. The compact is funded by the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), a U.S. government agency dedicated to fighting global poverty by supporting sustainable economic growth in partner countries.
