Originally established in 1949 as Mtendere Juniorate, the school was initially a vocational institution for the Brothers, exclusively admitting Roman Catholic male students until 1997. Since then, the school has broadened its enrollment to include non-Roman Catholic Christian male students, while maintaining its core Roman Catholic values and traditions.
