Old Mutual Malawi
Old Mutual Malawi in conjunction with the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Mzuzu University invites interested secondary schools to participate in the 2022 Old Mutual Mathematics Olympiad. The competition will be held from 2nd April, 2022 in venues (clusters) that will be communicated later to registered schools. This follows successful Old Mutual Mathematics Olympiads that have been held since 2015.

The 2022 Old Mutual Mathematics Olympiad is open to top Form Four (or equivalent) mathematics students from schools across the country. They will compete for various prizes in form of cash, trophies and Mathematics textbooks for their schools after taking a series of examinations at preliminary, semi-final and final stages.
You may wish to take note of the following with regards to the 2022 competition:
1. Each interested school may nominate at most four Form four (or equivalent) students. For coeducational schools two of the four students should be female. Any student who participated in any of the previous Olympiads is not eligible for nomination.
2. Nominated students must not be more than 20 years old and must not have had any post-secondary education.
3. Names of nominated students including such details as name, gender, age, name of contact person and their contact details should be sent by 4th March, 2022 through the email address kumwenda.k@mzuni.ac.mw. The names may also be submitted through the following numbers: Dr E. Manda (0991 50 30 44) and Mr P. Kubwalo (0999 49 49 97).
4. A double stream school will be considered as one school.
