The Maurice R. Greenberg World Fellows Program is a residential fellowship for accomplished leaders from around the world to develop their capacity to make a positive impact through an intensive four-month experience at Yale.

During their time at Yale, Fellows participate in weekly seminars, present their work and ideas, host discussions with distinguished guests, give talks and join panels, and mentor Yale students. They can also audit courses, work on individual or collaborative projects, and conduct independent research.

The program runs for four months, from mid-August to mid-December, with Fellows in residence at Yale University in New Haven for the entire period. World Fellows receive a taxable stipend to cover the costs of living in New Haven, a modest furnished one- or two-bedroom apartment for the duration of the program, medical insurance, and round-trip travel from their home country.

Applicants should be five to twenty-five years into their professional careers and have significant accomplishments at a regional, national, or international level. They must be citizens of a country other than the United States, although applicants with dual U.S. citizenship are eligible; applicants must also be fluent in English and available for full-time residence at Yale throughout the program.
