Kamuzu Academy

Applications are invited from suitably qualified & experienced teachers to be Head of English. We teach IGCSE First Language English and IGCSE English Literature as well as GCE ‘A’ Level Literature in English. Applicants should have a Degree in English as well as teaching qualification and at least five years’ experience of teaching IGCSE and A level. Previous leadership experience will be advantageous.

The additional post of Head of Upper School may also be available to a suitable candidate, who is interested in raising academic achievement across the school at IGCSE and A level. Kamuzu Academy is a selective, co-educational boarding school for students aged 11 to 18 years. We occupy a large, purpose-built campus about 2 hours north of the Capital City Lilongwe, with outstanding academic, recreational and sporting facilities.
