Nkhotakota District Council invites applications from suitably qualified and interested Malawian candidates to fill the following vacant positions:
1. Senior Medical Assistant – Grade L
Qualification:Certificate in Clinical Medicine and registration with the Medical Council of Malawi.
Work station: Health Centres under Nkhotakota District Council.
2. Community Midwife Assistant – Grade L
Qualification: Certificate in Community Midwifery or Nursing and Midwifery from a recognised institution in Malawi, with registration with the Nurses and Midwives Council of Malawi.
Work station:Health Centres under Nkhotakota District Council.
3. Disease Control and Surveillance Assistant – Grade M
Qualifications: Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) with credits in English, Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry/Physical Science.
Age:Not more than 35 years.
Work station: Health Centres under Nkhotakota District Council.
4. Statistical Clerk – Grade M
Qualifications:MSCE with credits in English and Mathematics, plus a Certificate in ICT or another relevant computer-related qualification.
Age:Not more than 35 years.
Work station:Health facilities under Nkhotakota District Council.
5. Security Guard – Grade P
Qualification: Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE).
Age:Between 25 and 40 years.
Work station:Various Council premises.
6. Hospital Attendant – Grade P
Qualifications:MSCE with credits in English, Mathematics and Biology.
Age:Not more than 35 years.
Work station:Health Centres under Nkhotakota District Council.
7. Ground Labourer – Grade R
Qualification: Junior Certificate of Education (JCE).
Age:Between 25 and 40 years.
Work station: Nkhotakota District Council.
8. Chief’s Messenger – Direct Employee
Qualification:MSCE.
Age:Between 25 and 40 years.
Locations: Chieftaincies of Mwansambo, Mwadzama and Kafuzira.
9. Chief’s Clerk – Direct Employee
Qualification: MSCE.
Age:Between 25 and 40 years.
Location:Chieftaincy of Nkhanga.
10. Sweeper – Direct Employee
Qualification:Junior Certificate of Education (JCE).
Age: Between 25 and 40 years.
Locations:Markets of Boma, Dwangwa and Mwansambo.
