Post: Plumber
Grade: NA12
Responsible to: Plumbing Technician
Purpose of the job
To maintains plumbing systems and fixtures at the Parliament Building and other official infrastructures.
Duties
- Assists in performing regular maintenance of plumbing systems
- Responds to plumbing emergencies and make repairs;
- Maintains records of plumbing works;
- Keeps plumbing tools and equipment in good working condition;
- Maintains an inventory of materials and order supplies as needed; and,
- Follows rules and regulations related to plumbing
Qualifications and Experience
Malawi School Certificate of Education plus Grade 1 Trade Test or its equivalent in plumbing with at least two (2) years’ work experience in plumbing.
