Plumber

(3) Plumber
Minimum Requirements:
Hold a Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)
Be a holder of Malawi TEVET Advanced Certificate in Plumbing or Grade 1 National Trade Test Certificate in plumbing plus City & Guilds Certificate, at least level II
At least 3 (three) years’ working experience in an established organisation.
Desired attributes
Have broad knowledge and hands-on experience of repairing and installation of water pumps, pipes and industrial- scale geysers.
Be a sober character and willing to work at odd hours
-A team leader with ability to supervise others.
Duties and Responsibilities
Installation and repairing of water pipes, water pumps and geysers.
Carry out routine servicing of water distribution system for both the Academy campus and surrounding communities.
Maintenance of domestic water waste systems
Planning and executing plumbing
systems for new projects. for
Supervision of excavation works maintenance of pipelines
Any other duties that may be assigned
from time-to-time
(4) Nurse/Midwife Technician
Minimum Requirements:
A minimum of Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery from a recognised institution
At least 5 years’ experience in a considerable busy clinic with proven track record of working in youth related programs.
Desired Attributes
Knowledge and basic training in child protection and safeguarding principles protection and safeguarding principles Be compassionate and sober in character with a passion for the youth.
Qualification and experience in provision of psychosocial counselling and first aid service will be an added advantage Be a member of Nurses and Midwives
Council of Malawi.
Duties and Responsibilities
Carrying out routine nursing duties and procedures at the clinic
Updating and maintaining necessary confidential records for the patients
Dispensing drugs
Sharing responsibilities for a 24 hours nursing cover with colleagues
Provide psychosocial counselling to patients
Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
