Position: Sales Representative Location: Blantyre office

Job Purpose: The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving revenue growth by promoting the company’s car rental products and services, establishing new business opportunities, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring efficient operational and administrative support within the branch.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Demonstrate and present car rental products and services to prospective clients.

Identify and establish new business opportunities to expand the customer base.

Issue quotations to clients and respond to tenders and pre-qualification requests. Negotiate contracts, rental packages, and pricing with customers.

Achieve agreed monthly and annual sales targets.

Maintain accurate sales, vehicle, and customer records.

Review and monitor sales performance and prepare periodic reports. Manage customer relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

Issue vehicles to clients and ensure proper documentation is completed. Conduct bank deposits and support basic financial accountability processes.

Follow up on outstanding payments and manage debt collection.

Represent the company at trade exhibitions, meetings, and marketing events when required. Perform any other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field.

At least one (1) year of experience in car rental services, sales, or customer relationship management.

Skills and Experience

Proven experience in sales, preferably within the car rental or service industry.

Strong knowledge of IT systems and Microsoft Office packages.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

Strong negotiation and persuasive selling skills.

Self-motivated, confident, and target-driven.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Strong financial integrity and clean record in handling funds.

Good numeracy and record-keeping skills.

Ability to perform well in a competitive and fast-paced environment. Valid and clean driving license.
