ECOM Vocational training institute (hereafter called EVTI) is a registered and an interdenominational Christian training college which offers a thorough vocational training in General fitting, Painting and Decoration coupled with Discipleship. The college is based in Blantyre City precisely Chilomoni.
EVT’s looking for a
1. TECHNICAL TEACHER (GENERAL FITTING-CONTRACT 6 MONTHS)
Responsibilities
Teaching all technical related subjects (Engineering fundamental, Occupation and Workshop practice) to all levels
Setting, supervising and marking of examination
Evaluating, assessing and inspecting the colege regularly.
Offer advisory services to students according to Christian standard. Custodian of all tools and equipment
Pursuing the vision of the school
Qualifications and attributes for the position
Must be a holder of Malowi School Certificate of Education (M.SC.E)
Must possess an Advanced Diploma / Advanced Malawi Craft Certificate in Mechanical Engineering.
Those with Degree in Technical education will have an added advantage Must have successfully completed a recognized indentured apprenticeship
Strong Christian background and must be prepared to do multi-skilled tasks
