The Victam Foundation invites researchers, organizations, innovators, and eligible commercial companies to apply for funding for projects that advance the animal feed and flour milling industries.

The Victam Foundation has a longstanding commitment to supporting innovation and development in the animal feed and flour milling industries, with previous funding rounds in 2025 and 2026 backing a diverse range of projects in these sectors.

Funding is available for projects that contribute to the advancement of animal feed and flour milling, with three main categories: future-proof feed technology (including energy and CO2 emission reduction, animal welfare, and regional production chains), new techniques in feed technology (such as resource use and new production chains), and harnessing animal production chains, particularly in developing countries.

Applicants may include universities, institutes, associations, companies, and eligible commercial entities, and may apply under one or more categories with clear justification. Projects should demonstrate innovation, scientific substantiation, economic potential, and social relevance. For projects in developing countries, local support, investment, and practical implementation are emphasized.

Maximum funding is €50,000 for a one-year project or €40,000 per year for multi-year projects, subject to a well-substantiated financial justification. Co-financing from other sources is positively valued.
