A Production Corporation in Lilongwe is urgently seeking for skilled and experienced Mechanic and a Cook.
1) MECHANIC
Key responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance, repairs and diagnostics on vehicles and equipment
Conduct inspections and tests to identify faults and diagnose problems
Repair and replace faulty components, such as engines, transmissions and brakes
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
Collaborate with other Mechanics and Technicians to share knowledge and best practices
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Applicants should be in possession of
Malawi School certificate of Education or Malawi Junior Certificate of Education
Strong knowledge of mechanical principles and practices
Knowledge of Motorbike repairs
2+ years of experience as a Mechanic
Ability to work independently
Physical ability to lift, push and pull heavy objects.
2) HOUSE MAID COOK (Indian Cuisine Specialist) (1 post)
Key responsibilities:
Prepare delicious and authentic Indian dishes, including chapatti
Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
Follow kitchen hygiene and safety protocols
Requirements
Experience in Indian cuisine preparation
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Good communication and teamwork skills
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Applicants should be in possession of
Malawi Junior Certificate
Proficiency in English language
Three years’ work experience in a similar work.
