Global Fund for Women
The Global Fund for Women (GFW) is an international network of advocates and supporters committed to advancing gender equality and social justice worldwide. GFW advocates for women’s rights by making grants to support grassroots women-led organizations and movements that work to address critical human rights issues such as ending gender-based violence, economic and environmental justice, health and reproductive rights, civic participation, and education access. Since its inception in 1987, GFW has awarded over $62 million to approximately 3,500 women’s rights organizations across 169 countries.
