EXPRESSION OF INTEREST – PROVISION OF CATERING SERVICES

1. Alliance One Tobacco (Malawi) Ltd is inviting sealed Expression of Interest (EOI) from eligible and qualified bidders for the Provision of Catering Services as follows:

2. Bidding shall be conducted through competitive bidding procedures specified in accordance with Alliance One Tobacco’s Procurement Policy

3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Alliance One Tobacco (Malawi) Limited from 07:30 hours to 16:00 hours local time from Monday to Friday except on public holidays through the following email address: MWLilongweProcurementCommittee@aointl.com

4. A complete set of Bidding Document in English may be paid for by interested bidders upon cash payment of non-refundable fee of MK250,000.00. The method of payment shall be strictly cash that can be paid at our Cashier’s Office.

5. The EOI’s shall remain valid for a period of 90 days after bid opening

6. The bids in sealed envelope clearly marked with appropriate EOI description should be addressed to:

7. It is the responsibility of each bidder to ensure that EOI’s are submitted in accordance with “Instructions to bidders” in the bidding document, as non-compliant to the instructions will lead to disqualification and rejection of the bid.

8. EOI must be delivered to the address above and be deposited in the “Tender Box” that is placed in the Mail Office situated at Gate No.3 on or before noon 31st December 2026.

9. Alliance One (Malawi) Limited does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any EOI, but reserves the right to exercise choice of the substantially responsive EOI, provided that the bidder is determined to be qualified to perform the contract.
