The SABA Public Awareness Grant Program is designed to support projects that deliver evidence-based behavior science messaging to new audiences not previously reached by existing initiatives.

The program encourages innovative approaches that extend the impact of behavior analysis into diverse fields such as education, organizational development, mental health, and community building. Priority is given to projects with measurable goals, clear evaluation plans, and the potential for scalability, sustainability, and replicability. Proposals should demonstrate a strong analytical foundation and articulate how the project will effectively reach new individuals, groups, or communities with scientifically grounded messaging.

The amount awarded will vary from US$1,000 up to US$5,000 each, with up to five grants awarded annually. All expenses must be clearly detailed in the proposed budget statement. Applicants are expected to identify their intended audience and describe strategies for reaching those not served by current initiatives. Ineligible costs include materials or events aimed at fundraising, projects to advertise products or services, staff salaries, and expenses for existing programs. Grant recipients are required to submit a brief report outlining the use of funds and expenditures by April 1 of the following year.
