The Earth Prize Environmental Sustainability Competition is currently accepting applications to support teenage students for innovative solutions that accelerate positive change towards environmental sustainability.

The competition provides a platform for young innovators to address pressing environmental issues and accelerate positive change through creative problem-solving and teamwork. Participants are guided through a multi-phase process, beginning with registration and team formation, followed by the development and submission of their Earth Prize Blueprint—a structured framework that validates the problem, demonstrates proof of concept, and outlines a feasible plan for implementation.

Throughout the competition, students receive support from a global community of mentors, including professionals, researchers, and educators, who provide one-to-one guidance via The Earth Foundation Discord Community.

The Earth Prize awards a total of USD 104,500, with each of the seven Regional Winners receiving USD 10,000 to implement their project. Seven Regional Winners are chosen from among the Scholars, each receiving USD 10,000 to implement their project, and the overall Global Winner is determined through a public voting process and celebrated at the Earth Prize Awards Ceremony.

Eligibility is open to students born between 2007 and 2014 who are currently enrolled in a school, homeschool, or other educational program. Participants may compete individually or in teams of up to five members, and parental consent is required for minors.
